Hauthane L-3385

A self-crosslinking, aliphatic, water-based polyurethane dispersion designed for use in high performance concrete and wood floor coatings.

Suggested Uses: L-3385 employs a unique air-dry, self-crosslinking mechanism to impart chemical-resistance, abrasion-resistance and mar-resistance properties which equal or exceed those of two-component, water-based floor coating systems currently used in the market.

Characteristics:

  • One-component, self-crosslinking polymer
  • High level of toughness, abrasion- and mar-resistance
  • Outstanding water and chemical resistance
  • Excellent exterior weathering performance
  • Contains n-ethyl pyrrolidone (NEP) co-solvent

Application

L-3385 can be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions for spray or rotogravure applications. Rheology modifications can be made with associative thickeners for alternative application methods.

Drying

Ambient drying temperatures between 60 – 90 ºF are ideal to produce coatings with optimal film properties. Allow 5 – 7 days to attain full cure properties.
