Hauthane HD-2334
Co-solvent free, high solids, flame-retardant, aliphatic, polyurethane dispersion.
Suggested Uses: HD-2334 was designed for use as a coating or finish for synthetic textile fabrics that must have permanent flame-retardancy. Low add-on levels of HD-2334 will enable synthetic fabrics to pass various FR tests including NFPA-701, MVSS-302 and others. The film properties of HD-2334 also provide a stiff hand and excellent molding/pleating properties. Due to its aliphatic composition, excellent UV resistance is also exhibited.
Characteristics:
- Permanent, non-leaching flame-retardancy
- Contains no co-solvent
- Good UV resistance
- Stiff, tough, flexible, dry film
- High melting point (340 ºF)
- Good low temperature flexibility and crack resistance

Application
Spray or pad – solids may be adjusted for optimum add-on. May be thickened with HA-900 for alternative application methods.
Curing
HD-2334 may be air-dried. Typical drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties. Enhanced properties may be attained through the use of various crosslinkers.
