Hauthane HD-2504
A very hard, polycarbonate-based, aliphatic, waterborne polyurethane dispersion.
Suggested Uses: HD-2504 was developed for general coatings use where exceptional resistance to hydrolysis, oxidation and UV degradation is required. HD-2504 is ideally suited for exterior applications where film durability and longevity are important considerations.
Characteristics:
- Superior chemical and stain resistance
- Excellent exterior weathering durability
- Excellent humidity resistance
- Contains n-methyl pyrrolidone co-solvent

Application
HD-2504 may be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions for application by conventional or air-assisted spray equipment. It may be thickened with associative thickeners to attain desired application viscosity.
Curing
HD-2504 may be air dried at ambient temperatures with the addition of 5 – 10 % coalescing solvent. For thermal curing, typical oven drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties. |
