Hauthane HD-4664
A medium soft, high solids, co-solvent free, aliphatic, polyurethane dispersion.
Suggested Uses: HD-4664 was designed as a high solids, multi-purpose textile binder polymer. It may be used as a blending resin for harder polyurethane polymers to impart greater film flexibility. A balanced composition provides good stability with acrylic latices and confers superior strength, abrasion resistance and low temperature flexibility properties.
Characteristics:
- High solids (50 %)
- Contains no co-solvent
- Medium soft, tough, dry film
- Superior abrasion resistance
- Exceptional low temperature flexibility and crack resistance

Application
HD-4664 can be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions for spray or pad bath applications. Solids can be reduced with water to optimize dry coating weight. This product may also be thickened with associative thickeners for knife-over-roll or similar methods.
Curing
HD-4664 can be air dried, if desired, depending on film thickness. Typical drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties.
